A 14 volume encyclopaedia exhaustively documenting the Romanesque style in architecture and art in the Spanish regions of Castile and Leon. It is the culmination of decades of work, starting in 1977.

Its 14 volumes record Romanesque churches, castles, fortifications and other structures built between 1070 and 1250. The descriptions of the buildings are accompanied by maps, plans and photographs, the history of the villages and where they are located, recording memories sometimes for the first time in published form.
