The cultural heritage awards is a co-operation between Europa Nostra and Creative Europe. Each year, we reward the best of cultural heritage achievements. Through our European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage we celebrate excellence and dedication by architects, craftsmen, volunteers, schools, local communities, heritage owners and media.
Europa Nostra
represents a rapidly growing citizens’ movement for the safeguarding of Europe’s cultural and natural heritage. Our pan-European network is composed of 250 member organisations (heritage associations and foundations with a combined membership of more than 5 million people), 150 associated organisations (governmental bodies, local authorities and corporations) and also 1500 individual members who directly support our mission.
Creative Europe
is the European Comission’s framework programme for support to the culture and audiovisual sectors. Following on from the previous Culture Programme and MEDIA programme, Creative Europ, with a budget of €1.46 billion (9% higher than its predecessors), will support Europe’s cultural and creative sectors.
