The jury appreciates Mr Vest’s objective to demonstrate how architectural heritage and culture move from one European country to another. His use of film to raise public awareness for cultural heritage and his life-long dedication were especially praised, as was his perseverance through adverse circumstances. He has succeeded in speaking for architecture in a matter-of-fact and affectionate voice and has made an impact on a vast audience.
