This is the winner of a Medal
This document was prepared to set out guidance in good conservation practice for those who maintain and carry out works in this iconic Victorian building. The study is divided into 3 parts: a description of the significance of the building; analysis of threats to the building’s significance; policies to address the particular vulnerability issues and protect what is significant about the building.
The study also includes a Gazetteer which is intended to act as a day-to-day working document and a repository for recording change/events in the building.
“For the development of an invaluable working tool which sets out guidance in good conservation practice for those responsible for conservation, maintenance and future interventions in an iconic building in the heart of London.”
